A frantic tenant calls convinced that the government was spying on her inside the house. The manager, went over to conduct an inspection and tried to explain that the noise she was interpreting as 'digital transmission' was actually the air from the furnace flowing through the older HVAC system. The tenant seemed to understand what the noise was, and the manager went home.
A few months later the manager went to do a regular inspection. Upon entry to the unit, he noted that the entire apartment had been covered in tinfoil. The ceilings, walls, doors light fixtures, everything.... Luckily, she hadn't burned the unit down or caused damage beyond her expense of buying that much tinfoil.
