At times we have to do evictions and lockouts. Though we strive to ensure this doesn't happen, there are times when it's unavoidable. This brings to mind a particular case...
An eviction and lockout became necessary with a tenant. The entire process was as good as one could hope for, the tenant was respectful and cooperative with the manager and constable, and everything went according to the book. However, a couple hours later the manager received a call: the evicted tenant and several friends were outside the property using illegal substances and using the property's free WiFi still. A quick call to the local police department resolved the situation, and nothing further happened or was required.
The property is being cleaned, fixed, and refurbished...and the WiFi password has now been changed.
